Course: Iber Applied to Sustainable Urban Drainage
Sep 14, 2026
A new training course, "Iber Applied to Sustainable Urban Drainage", will take place on 27 October 2026 at the Campus Nord of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). The course is designed for public administrations, engineering firms, consultants, and professionals interested in assessing permeable pavements and sustainable urban drainage systems using the Iber hydraulic modelling software. Delivered by Iber developers and researchers from the BITSDRAIN project, the program combines fundamental software training with advanced applications of the hydrology module and the Green-Ampt method. Participants will learn how to model urban drainage scenarios, evaluate permeable pavement performance, and improve simulation accuracy in complex environments. The one-day, hands-on course will run from 15:00 to 19:00 and includes a certificate issued by the Institut FLUMEN of UPC.
Attendance is limited to 30 participants.
